Widen from four to six lanes.

This project involves the widening of a 16km section known as Gateway Motorway North, extending from Nudgee Road (northern end of the Gateway Upgrade Project) to Bracken Ridge and rehabilitation work from Bracken Ridge to Bruce Highway.
The project includes the construction of an additional northbound traffic lane between the Sandgate Road Interchange and the existing five lane section to the south of the Deagon Deviation.

The upgrade of the Gateway Motorway North project aims to increase efficiency, assist in reducing congestion and improve safety for all road users.
