In March 2015 the NSW Government announced $180 million towards Lismore Base Hospital’s Stage 3B redevelopment.

Works being considered as part of the next stage include the expansion of critical care, operating theatres, maternity, new inpatient beds, medical imaging, paediatric beds and support areas.

The project will also complete the relocation and consolidation of the community health and ambulatory care services, and provide enhanced teaching and education facilities.
