The Lachlan Health Service project includes the redevelopment of Parkes Hospital and the
refurbishment of Forbes Hospital.

Patients and staff moved in to the completed Parkes Hospital on 24 November 2015.

The new hospital includes an emergency department, medical imaging, ambulatory care, inpatient units and birthing suites.

Construction is progressing on the refurbishment of the Ambulatory Care and Renal units at Forbes, following completion of the new building in late 2015.

The refurbishment works are the final component of the $40.9 million Forbes Hospital redevelopment, providing a more integrated health service for the Forbes community
