Small Town Water Supply Strategy
Value of project
$25M - $50M
Notwithstanding the regulatory, policy and process challenges associated with the Small Towns Program, the three regional Corporations and now TasWater (TW) have had a positive impact on drinking water quality for many Tasmanians, particularly those living in the State’s regional areas.
This strategy looks to extend on the work previously undertaken and provide an approach to manage the uncertainty and identification of a preferred option for each small town based on a Board approved Multi Criteria Analysis to remove all Boiled Water Alerts and Do Not Consume Notices. "
