WestConnex is one of the NSW Government’s key infrastructure projects which aims to ease congestion, create jobs and connect communities. The 33km project will connect Sydney's west and south-west with the city, airport and port and provide the missing link in the Sydney Orbital Network. The motorway will be delivered in three stages:
Stage 1 - M4 Widening (Church Street, Parramatta to Homebush Bay Drive) and M4 East (Homebush Bay Drive to Parramatta Road, Haberfield and City West Link)
Stage 2 – M5 East Airport Link (M5 motorway at Beverly Hills to St Peters)
