In March 2015, the NSW Government announced $50 million to upgrade Bowral Hospital.

The redevelopment is expected to deliver upgraded facilities at Bowral Hospital to provide improved access to services and meet future demand.

The Local Health District is currently finalising the Clinical Services Plan (CSP). The CSP provides a roadmap for public health services in the region, and a guide for how services will be structured and organised in the future, at the facility.
